The two teams

The REDBLACKS lost 41 to 20 to the B.C. Lions in Vancouver on Friday October 9 2026, The Canadian Press reported on TSN and 3DownNation reported. The result left Ottawa at 0 wins and 16 losses, last in the East Division, and clinched a playoff place for B.C.

Toronto is 9 wins and 7 losses, second in the East Division, according to Stats Crew.

3DownNation reported on October 2 2026 that 15 straight losses was already a CFL record for the start of a season. The earlier mark was 14, by the 1994 Shreveport Pirates.

The teams last met on September 12 2026 at BMO Field in Toronto. The Argonauts won 26 to 23 on a field goal with no time left, 3DownNation reported.

After this game, the REDBLACKS finish the regular season at Hamilton on October 24 2026, according to theScore.

Getting there

Transit. OC Transpo says event tickets are valid to ride transit from 3 hours before the event until 3 hours after. The REDBLACKS’ transportation page gives the same window for OC Transpo, the O-Train, STO and Para Transpo. The team lists the 450-series game-day buses, which run from 2 hours before kickoff to 90 minutes after the game, and two free shuttles, from Carleton University and from Canada Post headquarters, which run from 2 hours before kickoff to 90 minutes after the final whistle.

Parking. Sources differ. TD Place’s parking page says underground parking is not available when there is a REDBLACKS game, that prepaid parking is unavailable for REDBLACKS games, and that the garage closes 3 hours before each game. The REDBLACKS say the garage is reserved for prepaid parking passes only, starting 5 hours before kickoff, with entry from Queen Elizabeth Drive.

Accessible entry. The REDBLACKS say Gate 4 is no longer an accessible entry, and that accessible entry is at Gate 1 and Frank Clair Way.
