The closed section

The City’s notice describes the closed section two ways. Its “What” paragraph says Exhibition Way is closed to vehicles between Service Way and Marché Way. Its “Traffic impacts” paragraph says between Paul Askin Way and Marché Way.

The notice says the work runs during regular weekday hours. It does not say whether the road reopens to vehicles on weekends, or when it reopens once the work ends.

What stays open

The City says:

  • People on foot and on bikes can still get through, using the north-side sidewalk of Exhibition Way.
  • Access to the underground garage from Queen Elizabeth Drive and from Exhibition Way stays open.
  • Residential access off Holmwood Avenue stays open.
  • Every business stays open to customers.

The work is done by EBC Inc., the City’s contractor, according to the notice.

Garage entrances and transit

TD Place’s parking page lists two garage entrances: the main entrance near Bank Street and Exhibition Way, and the east entrance off Queen Elizabeth Drive, south of Fifth Avenue. OC Transpo routes 6 and 7 serve Lansdowne every day.

Rates and game-day rules are in the parking guide.
