Lansdowne Construction Update – Week of November 4, 2013

Over the weekend piles (large metal posts) will be driven into the ground near the Bank Street Bridge in preparation for building a new crane base. There will also be work to waterproof and back-fill the parking garage structure at the Bank Street entrance gate. Both of these activities will take place during regular construction hours this Saturday and Sunday.

During the week of November 4th, 2013, some excavation in the urban park will continue for the future shuttle loop, near the Queen Elizabeth Drive entrance. As work proceeds in this area, it is necessary to close the gate to the dog park for safety reasons.

As of Monday, November 11, access to the park will only be available from the gate near Holmwood and O’Connor. Once construction activities are completed, the gate will be re-opened. We appreciate your patience during this time.
