D&G Landscaping to Build the Urban Park at Lansdowne

After a prequalification process, D&G Landscaping was ultimately chosen by the City of Ottawa’s to Build the Urban Park at Lansdowne.

D&G Landscaping has previously worked on such projects as the landscaping of the Canadian War Museum, the Bank Street reconstruction from Highway 417 to Holmwood Avenue and the Wellington West streetscaping.

Construction of the urban park is expected to begin in later this month. The installation of underground utilities for the park and interlock pavers around the Aberdeen Pavilion as well as the construction of the shuttle bus loop are all expected to be completed this summer.

Although some areas of the park will be complete for Lansdowne stadium’s opening in 2014, the final features are not expected to be finished until the summer of 2015.
