Lansdowne Park Ongoing Construction & Ottawa 67’s Home Opener

Ongoing Construction Activities at Lansdowne Park

Over the next few weeks, the contractor will begin landscaping on the east side of the Horticulture Building.

This work will continue into November. Elsewhere in the park, work will continue to complete the sculptural element in the water plaza, and the berm at the east end of the stadium will be landscaped.

As well, testing will continue of the mechanical equipment for the refrigerated skating rink.

Construction of the new townhouses along Holmwood will continue throughout the fall. The City is working with the contractor to ensure that safe traffic flow is maintained along Holmwood during this work.

The construction is anticipated to be complete late this year.

Ottawa 67’s Home Opener

The Ottawa 67’s hosted the Niagara IceDogs during their home opener in the renovated TD Place arena on Friday, October 10, 2014. The arena has a few more adjustments to be made – some of the old luxury boxes are still closed as the Ottawa 67’s held their home opener in the renovated TD Place arena.

Checkout Pinty’s Pub and Grill in the lower concourse as the Ottawa 67’s held their home opener in the renovated TD Place arena.
