Lansdowne Park Construction Update – Week of June 15, 2014

Next week there will be a lot of activity at the north end of the Horticulture Building, at the corner of Holmwood and O’Connor. The contractor will be installing steel studs in the new extension and starting work on the roof.

Some of the wooden construction hoarding along Bank Street near the traffic signal at the entrance to Lansdowne will be removed and replaced with fencing covered in a screening in order to allow for landscaping work to be conducted in this area.

Testing and set up of the stadium field lights will start next week and continue for at least a week. Initializing the lights requires them to be on intermittently, sometimes for long periods of time.

The lights will be aimed into the stadium, but residents may notice the additional lighting, particularly at night.
