The City of Ottawa lists these general on-street rules: parking is prohibited in excess of three hours, Monday to Friday, between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, and for more than six hours on weekends and statutory holidays between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. Parking is also prohibited within 9 metres of an intersection and within 3 metres of a fire hydrant. The City’s page does not list on-street rates or paid hours, and does not mention Lansdowne.
On-street payment: the City lists Pay and Display machines that accept coins or credit cards (VISA, Mastercard or American Express), and PayByPhone, which charges regular parking fees plus a 30 cent service fee per transaction.
Residential permit streets

When temporary “No Parking” signs are posted, permit holders must move their vehicles. The City’s residential permit page says a residential permit lets eligible residents park on assigned streets for up to 48 hours, and that permit holders still pay on-street fees in Pay and Display zones.
