Accessible seating
According to TD Place’s accessibility page, accessible seating in the Stadium is on the North Side in Sections B, H and ToonieBet Field Club 1, and on the South Side in Main Concourse Sections N, Q, S, U and W and Upper Concourse Sections MM, VV, TT, RR, PP, XX and WW. In the Arena it is in Sections 13 and 17 and General Admission.
The same page says seats can be bought as a single ticket or a pair, and that availability is not guaranteed. Season seat holders, gifted seats and Box Office purchases can request exchanges. Third-party tickets generally cannot be exchanged or refunded, but TD Place says guests can ask the Box Office about buying an accessible seat.
TD Place states that portable chairs are available on request for guests who do not use a wheelchair. Its page does not say whether accessible seats are priced differently from standard seats or whether portable chairs are free.
Support persons and Access2
TD Place’s accessibility page states that all guests, including support persons, must hold a valid ticket at standard pricing. TD Place says its Guest Experience team will try to seat guests and support persons together.
For REDBLACKS, 67’s, Atlético Ottawa, Ottawa Rapid FC and Ottawa BlackJacks games, TD Place says Access2 cardholders may receive one complimentary ticket for a verified support person, subject to availability. It lists premium spaces, concerts, comedy shows and special events as excluded.
Accessible parking and drop-off
TD Place states that accessible parking is limited and not guaranteed, that pre-paid parking is encouraged where offered, and that guests can call 613-690-0510 at least 48 hours ahead to check availability. For major events, it states that extra accessible spaces near elevator lobbies in the underground garage are available first-come, first-served.
The cost of accessible parking, and whether it is included in an event ticket, is not stated on the TD Place pages read. For general parking, see where to park at Lansdowne Park and free parking near Lansdowne Park.
TD Place’s accessibility page lists Para Transpo and taxi zones at its Accessible Support Entrances: the corner of Exhibition Way and Paul Askin Way for Stadium events and Gate 1 for Arena events, with Guest Services staff at both (event-by-event details under Transit below).
Entrances, gates and elevators
TD Place’s accessibility page states that Gate 1 has ramp access and is designated for guests with limited mobility, and that Frank Clair Way also serves as an accessibility entrance for Stadium events. TD Place’s accessibility page calls the Bank Street drop-off near Gate 1 “a designated Accessible Support Entrance location.” TD Place’s accessibility page says guests who may need a variation to the standard security inspection are encouraged to enter at Gate 1 for Arena events and at Gate 1 or Frank Clair Way for Stadium events.
TD Place describes Gate 2 (67’s) and Gate 1 (Ottawa BlackJacks) as quieter entry options. For the full gate layout, see the TD Place gates guide.
TD Place lists these elevators: in the Stadium South Side (Section S), serving the lower south bowl, Otto’s club, upper south seating and press box; in the Stadium North Side, inside the Arena at Gate 1, serving the Club level; and in the Arena at Gate 1, serving the upper and lower concourses. Field level and Arena floor level require a staff escort, according to TD Place. For guests in the Upper North Stadium section who need mobility help, TD Place states that golf cart service is available from the Gate 1 ramp. It also states that golf cart shuttles run for REDBLACKS games, with a waiting zone at Exhibition Way/Paul Askin Way. Elevator dimensions are not stated.
Transit: OC Transpo and Para Transpo
TD Place states that, with OC Transpo and STO, accessible Park & Shuttle and transit service runs on all routes to TD Place, with drop-off and pick-up on Bank Street near Gate 1. OC Transpo’s TD Place page says Routes 6 and 7 travel to Lansdowne every day. It also says transit is free for TD Place event ticket holders. That OC Transpo page does not describe wheelchair or mobility-device access on buses, the O-Train or shuttles.
On Para Transpo, OC Transpo’s TD Place page states: “Para Transpo fares are also included in your event ticket price.” The REDBLACKS “Getting to the Game” page says Para Transpo rides are free for guests attending REDBLACKS games. Trips are booked through Para Transpo’s booking service.
Pick-up and drop-off points depend on the event. TD Place’s accessibility page lists, including for Para Transpo and taxis: the corner of Exhibition Way and Paul Askin Way, by Chipotle, for REDBLACKS games and other special events in the Stadium; Exhibition Way and Frank Clair for Atlético Ottawa and Ottawa Rapid FC games; and Gate 1 for 67’s, Ottawa BlackJacks and other Arena events. For other events TD Place asks guests to confirm the location with Guest Experience at 1-844-FAN-INFO (326-4636). TD Place’s 67’s game-day page states: “Para Transpo will pick up and drop off near Gate 1.” For other routes, see getting to Lansdowne Park.
Washrooms, mobility aids and sensory supports
TD Place states that accessible washrooms are in Stadium Sections E, EE, D, DD, M, X, N and W and in Arena Sections 11, 12, 24 and 27, with a gender-neutral option in Arena Section 15. It says family washrooms are on all levels of both venues and that some have wheelchair-accessible stalls or power doors.
TD Place provides escort wheelchairs for travel between transport and seats. Per TD Place, these cannot be used seated during events, rentals are not offered, and requests should be made at least 24 hours ahead. It states that walkers, wheelchairs and other devices can be stored at the nearest Guest Experience booth, and that oxygen tanks are permitted.
TD Place states that free sensory kits are available at the Guest Experience booths in Arena Section 18 and Stadium Section S, with valid ID held until the kit is returned. It lists a sensory guide for REDBLACKS and 67’s games, free TheraSpec glasses for strobe sensitivity, and a quiet room near Arena Section 1. For hearing, it says assistive listening is available at certain sporting events through the Audio Everywhere app, and that ASL interpreter requests go through Guest Experience at least 30 days before the event. For visual impairments it lists the free BlindSquare (Apple) and XploreNinja (Android) apps, developed with CNIB.
Service animals
TD Place states that guide dogs and service animals that meet AODA requirements are welcome at all events, that identification or documentation may be required, and that guests with service animals are required to sit in accessible seating sections.
