Who plays in the final

The NSL describes the final as a winner-take-all match between “the league’s top two clubs” for the Diana B. Matheson Cup, in its August 9 2026 announcement. The NSL schedule lists two-legged semi-finals: first legs on October 31 and November 1, second legs on November 7 and November 8 2026. As of October 25 2026 the NSL has not named the finalists; its schedule shows them as “Finalist” placeholders.

The NSL states the final is held at a neutral venue, with a different host city chosen each year. Ottawa Rapid FC is one of the league’s clubs; see our Ottawa Rapid FC page.

Tickets

The NSL and TD Place both link to the same Ticketmaster event page. The NSL’s Final page lists single tickets, family packs, a Coca-Cola Cabin offer, and group and suite packages, with current prices on that page. TD Place’s stadium guide states that tickets are mobile and scanned at the gate from your phone.

Getting there

OC Transpo’s TD Place page states that transit is free for all TD Place event ticket holders from 3 hours before to 3 hours after the event. It lists routes 6 and 7 as daily service, and routes 450, 451, 452, 454, 455 and 456 for major events. TD Place’s stadium guide also states that STO routes are not free for some TD Place events.

TD Place’s event page does not give parking details for this match. Lots, rates and entrances are in our parking guide; routes by car, bus, bike and on foot are on our getting to Lansdowne Park page.

Gates and stadium rules

Which gate serves which section is in our TD Place gates guide. TD Place’s stadium guide states that:

  • all bags are inspected; bags must be soft-sided and fit under your seat, and clear bags use express lanes;
  • the venue is cashless, with debit and credit cards accepted;
  • outside food and drink are not permitted, except empty refillable or unopened water bottles;
  • flagpoles must be soft plastic and no longer than 4 ft;
  • air horns, whistles and mechanical noisemakers are prohibited;
  • strollers are checked at a Guest Services Information Booth;
  • re-entry rules vary by event.

Around the match

The NSL lists its Women’s Sport Now conference on Friday, November 13 2026 at NSL House, Lansdowne Park, and states that more fan events will be announced. Other events that weekend are on our What’s On page. Restaurants and shops at Lansdowne are in our Eat and Shop section.
