The regular season is 28 matches, 14 at home and 14 away, from April 4 to October 25 2026. The league has eight teams, and each plays every opponent four times.
Top four, as of October 13 2026
From the league’s weekly standings article of October 13 2026, after 26 matches for every team.
| Position | Team | Wins, draws, losses | Points |
|---|---|---|---|

The table marks Cavalry FC, Forge FC and Atlético Ottawa as having clinched playoff places. Atlético Ottawa beat Pacific FC 2 to 0 in Victoria on Sunday October 11 2026, the league reported, and the win locked up third place.
Atlético Ottawa clinched with a home win over Cavalry FC at TD Place on September 30 2026. The league’s match report gives the score as 3 to 2, with two goals by Kamron Habibullah and the winner by Gabriel Antinoro at 90+10 minutes. Sources differ: the club’s release gives 3 to 2 on the league’s site and 2 to 1 in the copy carried by OurSports Central.
The club was the third team to clinch. 2026 is the fourth time it has qualified for the playoffs and the third season in a row.
The club confirmed its final 2026 roster at the league’s roster freeze. The league named Ballou Tabla its Player of the Month for July 2026 and Nicolas Fleuriau Chateau for August 2026.
Remaining regular-season matches
As of October 15 2026.
The October 17 match is the last regular-season home match and a Youth Soccer Celebration match, and TSN and OneSoccer broadcast it. Sources differ on the time. TD Place’s listing and the league’s match report of October 12 2026 give Saturday October 17 2026 at 1:00 pm. The Glebe BIA’s listing gives 11:00 am. The club’s release of October 1 2026 says “Sunday, October 17”; October 17 2026 is a Saturday.
The last regular-season match is on Sunday October 25 2026 at 4:00 pm ET, away to Inter Toronto at York Lions Stadium, according to Inter Toronto’s schedule release of February 2 2026, which says all eight CPL teams are in action on the final day.
Playoffs
The top four teams qualify. First plays fourth and second plays third. Each semi-final is two legs, decided on aggregate, and the higher seed hosts the second leg. There is no away-goals rule: a tie goes to 30 minutes of extra time, then penalty kicks. The final is one match, hosted by the higher-seeded finalist.
The playoffs begin on Saturday October 31 2026. The semi-final legs are on the weekends of October 31 and November 1, and November 7 and 8, and the final is on November 21 or 22, depending on where it is played. The winner receives the North Star Cup and a place in the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup, according to a league release carried by OurSports Central on September 30 2026.
The club will host its semi-final leg at TD Place on Sunday November 1 2026 at 2:00 pm ET, it announced on October 8 2026. The club does not say whether it is the first or the second leg. It named Forge FC and Cavalry FC as the possible opponents. TD Place’s upcoming events page lists “Atlético Ottawa vs. TBD (CPL Semi-Final)” on November 1 2026 at The Stadium, with two times, 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm. In the league’s table of October 13 2026, Cavalry FC and Forge FC are level on 54 points with two regular-season matches left.
Season seat members get first access to playoff tickets, then fans on the waitlist, and the public sale began on Thanksgiving Monday, October 12 2026, the club’s announcement says. It shows no price.
Tickets
Besides single-match tickets, the club’s ticket page lists season seat memberships, half-season memberships, youth season seat memberships, a Family Flex 10 pass and a 6-ticket flex pass. The club’s ticket email is tickets@atleticoottawa.club.
The club’s ticket page, the league’s ticket page and TD Place’s listing do not show a single-match price.
2027 season seat memberships are on sale, the club announced on October 14 2026. The announcement lists no prices and no membership names. It says members get the club’s lowest per-match prices, member benefits and flexible payment options.
CHEO receives $5 from every Atlético Ottawa home-game ticket bought through the CHEO Foundation’s ticket link, all season long, according to the foundation’s page. The page was last changed on April 16 2026.
Match day at TD Place
Last call for alcohol at Atlético Ottawa matches is at the 70-minute mark. Bags must be soft-sided and fit under the seat, and clear bags get an express lane. Outside food and drink are not allowed, but an empty or unopened refillable water bottle is. TD Place’s stadium guide says TD Place will be going entirely cashless.
Getting to a match
Transit. OC Transpo routes 6 and 7 serve TD Place every day. An event ticket is valid on OC Transpo from 3 hours before the event until 3 hours after, and the Para Transpo fare is included. TD Place’s stadium guide gives the same window for OC Transpo and STO, and adds that STO routes are not free for some TD Place events. Neither OC Transpo’s page nor the transit passage of the stadium guide names Atlético Ottawa.
OC Transpo also lists routes 450, 451, 452, 454, 455 and 456, which run for major stadium events only. Its TD Place page does not say which events those are.
Parking. The underground garage is open 24 hours a day. For events, the price varies by event. TD Place recommends buying parking in advance through Ticketmaster and says to check which events offer it. Prepaid parking has no in-and-out privileges. TD Place’s parking page does not name Atlético Ottawa. The garage closure it gives, 3 hours before a game, is stated for Ottawa REDBLACKS games only.

Atlético Ottawa and Lansdowne 2.0
CPL games continue during Lansdowne 2.0 construction, and the City of Ottawa’s monthly newsletters list Atlético Ottawa home dates among the events on site.
The City’s project page sets out three construction phases, and its schedule lists the stadium’s north side stands from the fourth quarter of 2028 to the fourth quarter of 2030. On the City’s question-and-answer page, the new stands hold 12,400 and have no roof. As of October 15 2026, neither City page says where Atlético Ottawa plays, or how many seats are open, while the stands are rebuilt.
The club moved its February 17 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup home leg to Hamilton Stadium. Its statement of December 13 2025 gave a renovation project at Lansdowne as the reason and said TD Place would be available for the 2026 CPL season. Capital Current reported on March 10 2026 that the move was due to construction at TD Place.

The club
Atlético Ottawa is owned by Atlético de Madrid. Atlético de San Luis, of Mexico, is a sister club, and players come on loan from Madrid and San Luis.
At TD Place the club is a tenant: OSEG owns the Ottawa REDBLACKS and the Ottawa 67’s, and Atlético Ottawa and the Ottawa BlackJacks are tenants.
Gustavo Leal is the fourth head coach in the club’s history. His contract runs through the 2027 season, with an option for 2028. The club’s release of July 17 2026 calls him the first Brazilian to lead a CPL team.
The previous head coach was Diego Mejía, whose last match was a 2 to 1 home win over Forge FC on May 24 2026. The league’s match report said the club had announced he was leaving at the end of May for a job abroad.
Manuel Vega is the club’s CEO, and J.D. Ulanowski is general manager as of the club’s media round-up of April 12 2026. The club’s own pages are on the league’s site, at cplsoccer.com/atleticoottawa.
