The Lansdowne site has two addresses: 1015 Bank Street and 1525 Princess Patricia Way. OC Transpo routes 6 and 7 serve it every day. The underground parking garage is open 24 hours. On Ottawa REDBLACKS game days TD Place says it is not available, and the REDBLACKS say it is reserved for prepaid parking passes.

The City of Ottawa lists TD Place events and games, the businesses and restaurants, the internal streets and the underground garage as open during Lansdowne 2.0 construction. The Great Lawn and the sledding hill are closed.

Free transit with an event ticket

OC Transpo asks riders to show the event ticket to the operator. TD Place’s stadium guide and the REDBLACKS’ transportation page give the same window as OC Transpo. The stadium guide adds that STO routes are not free for some TD Place events.

Cycling

There are more than 600 bike parking spaces across the site, and TD Place offers free secure bike parking during REDBLACKS games. The REDBLACKS’ page lists a free bike valet at the west end of Aberdeen Plaza, near Milestones. It opens 90 minutes before the game and closes 45 minutes after the final whistle.

Driving and parking

There is road work on the drive: work on Highway 417 between Island Park and Kent, with lane and ramp closures, and ongoing lane closures on Bank Street.

The parking garage has two entrances: the main entrance near Bank Street and Exhibition Way, and the east entrance off Queen Elizabeth Drive, south of Fifth Avenue.

Sources differ on the garage for REDBLACKS games. TD Place’s parking page says underground parking is not available when there is a REDBLACKS game. It gives a closing time of 3 hours before each game and says prepaid parking is not offered for REDBLACKS games. The REDBLACKS’ transportation page says that on REDBLACKS game days the garage is reserved for prepaid parking passes only, starting 5 hours before kickoff.

The REDBLACKS’ page lists free shuttles for game-ticket holders from two pick-up points: Canada Post headquarters at 2701 Riverside Drive, and Carleton University at 1125 Colonel By Drive. The shuttles run from 2 hours before kickoff until 90 minutes after the final whistle. The same page says the 450-series buses run from 2 hours before kickoff until 90 minutes after the game.

For other events the price varies by event. TD Place recommends buying parking in advance through Ticketmaster and says to check which events offer it.

The Ottawa Farmers’ Market page gives the parking rate as $4 per hour. The market runs on Sundays, and TD Place lists $5 per hour for Sundays.

Accessibility

TD Place describes accessible parking as limited and first come, first served on event days, with a permit required, and asks visitors to contact the parking office at least 48 hours ahead. The free ride with an event ticket includes the Para Transpo fare.

The City’s August 7 2026 newsletter says crews began demolishing the ramp and stairs at Gate 4. The REDBLACKS’ transportation page, as read in the browser on October 15 2026, says Gate 4 is no longer an accessible entry.

What construction closes

The Great Lawn and the sledding hill are closed. The original berm was removed during excavation, and the City’s page says a new six-metre berm will be built once the Event Centre is complete. The City’s schedule lists work on the berm and the Great Lawn in the third and fourth quarters of 2028.

Exhibition Way has reopened. The City’s newsletter of October 9 2026 says the utility work under Exhibition Way is complete and the street has reopened. The City’s earlier construction notice of September 17 2026 had given the work as running until Friday October 16 2026. The newsletter announces no new closures, and the City’s construction notices page lists no notice dated after September 17 2026.

The Aberdeen Pavilion

Restoration of the Aberdeen Pavilion has started, and the 613flea market is using a new layout, CTV News Ottawa reported on October 3 2026.
