“If you haven’t sat down to a meal in one of our stores lately, you’re in for treat.” If you have, then you know what we’re talking about. Depending on the size and location of the store, our Prepared Foods departments can include a deli, an ethnic restaurant, burger joint, neighborhood diner, Parisian café, pizza joint, BBQ shack, sushi or seafood bar, raw foods bar, taco bar, salad bar, sandwich bar, olive bar and wine bar.

If variety alone doesn’t make you take out your napkin and tuck in, here’s the clincher: all of the ingredients are natural or organic and as many as possible are locally grown. 1. Shame on Whole Foods for not allowing their employees to wear poppies. It is an insult to veterans and those that gave their lives defending , ironically, the freedom to make stupid decisions like this one that Amazon/Whole Foods made.
What a slap in the face to Canada.
There is absolutely no one that would ever complain to Whole Foods if they saw an employee wearing a poppy. But hopefully there will be lots of complaints, like mine, disagreeing with Whole Foods outright forbidding their employees from opting to wear one.
Good on the employee whoever it was that spoke up.
Time for me to start shopping somewhere else other than the lansdowne park WF

  2. Being a four generation military service member, I am extremely disappointed in your policy of not letting employees wear poppies to remember all the fallen members who kept you safe through the wars. After a tour in Afghanistan my nephew committed suicide. We think of him too on the 11th November. I feel you should reconsider your policy. I understand this is a head company policy. Maybe it’s time to get after them to change their policy.
