Upcoming workshops and training at Volunteer Ottawa

Here is some information about upcoming workshops at Volunteer Ottawa that you will not want to miss:

1.      An Effective Control System Protects Your Organization! There is still some space in this workshop on February 20th . This is a great workshop to learn about systems you can put in place to protect your organization from fraud. It takes place Wednesday, February 20th from 1-3 pm at Volunteer Ottawa – 363 Coventry Road. For more information and to register, please click here.

2.      Diversify Your Volunteer Pool. This is a workshop and discussion group aimed at helping you better manage diverse volunteers. Facilitators with experience working with seniors, youth, new Canadians and volunteers with disabilities will present tips and tricks on engaging these populations. The session takes place Tuesday, February 26th from 1-3 at Volunteer Ottawa. For more information or to register click here.

3.      The 3Rs of Volunteer Management. This workshop is free to Volunteer Ottawa members. It provides a great introduction to recruitment, retention and recognition of volunteers.
